Creator
I develop concepts, primarily for drama series, but also for films, from idea to screenplay. Sometimes alone, but much rather in a team.
Screenwriter
I plot and write scripts for television. In the future I want to try longer formats as well.
Co-Writer
Since the beginning of my career I have been writing together with others. I work in writers’ rooms and teams. I love to share my creativity.
Storyliner
When writing for a daily soap I learned to tell long story arcs. I can write quickly and reliably. Sharing ideas is natural for me.
Designer
I consider selling my work to be one of my strengths. As a former graphic designer I know exactly how to best package and pitch my ideas.
Expert
Through my studies of media science I know the media market and its mechanisms by heart.
The Plotpoints of my Story:
Freelance Screenwriter / Creator
After various stations and training, including a master’s degree in media studies at the Babelsberg Film University, which initially brought me closer to the medium of film and film production academically, I delved deeper into screenwriting in 2016 with the advanced course „Winterclass – Serial Writing and Producing“ by Timo Gößler. In this context, I not only learned the American way of writing series in the Writers‘ Room, but also developed my first own series concept, which I was able to sell immediately and which met with great interest at Netflix.
In parallel I worked as a production assistant and producer for online commercial videos and trained my craft as a writer for a daily soap in Cologne (more than 20 of his episodes were aired). Currently, I am working on a variety of my own material, being fascinated by genre crossovers and stories with a special hook and still unused milieus, which open up a new perspective on reality to the viewer in an entertaining way. My concept FÜXE won a call for submissions from „Das Kleine Fernsehspiel / ZDF“ among numerous applications, has been produced in 2022 and will be broadcasted as a 4-part miniseries in 2023.
Currently I am developing a high-end series for ZDF as head writer and creative producer.
With a love for different new narrative forms and themes, I pursue as writer-producer the goal of telling German stories in a fresh, modern tone.

FÜXE
An ambitious student from a simple, immigrant background hopes that joining a traditional fraternity will pave his way to a successful future, but must realize that the world of the elites will only open up to him if he is willing to make sacrifices and deny himself.

Winterclass – Serial Writing and Producing 2016
I am an alumni of the advanced study program „Winterclass – Serial Writing and Producing 2016“.
The contents of the programme included:
Series development up to the script of a pilot episode, series dramaturgy, US methodology and approach (Writers‘ Room), series market in Germany, Europe and the USA, series financing and new financing and co-financing models, US methodology and German media law, everyday work in series development (international showrunners report from the Writers Room), pitch and presentation training.
Sometimes the little moments matter as much as the big turning points.
